By using SGU’s services, you are assured that your designated area is effectively secured, and the most important information is always available on your phone. As part of the service, we offer, among other things:

  • Real-time observation of the secured facility with SOVA system cameras: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
  • Thermal imaging cameras as standard in each system configuration;
  • Immediate reaction to any event (alarm signal, voice announcement, calling intervention patrol and appropriate services – whenever such need arises);
  • Recording of video from the cameras for a standard period of 30 days with the possibility of recording events on the secured site for up to 5 years;
  • Notifications about threats and emergencies that take place in the secured area;
  • Contacting the relevant services (fire department, police) on your behalf;
  • Release of recorded material to authorized persons or services upon your request;
  • Access to camera images through the VIKI app made available to authorized persons;
  • Possibility of a liability policy of 5 000 000 EUR in the event of an incident.

Using years of experience and the latest technology, we have developed a self-powered security system for people and objects. It sees, analyzes and records video, and responds to events within seconds.

Its eyes are the SOVA (Video Audio Security System), its brain is the VIKI (Video Interactive Kinetic Intelligence), and its heart is the 24/7 Operations Center, where operators constantly watch secured facilities and immediately respond to even the slightest threats.

The Video Audio Security System (SOVA) provides round-the-clock security for a designated area. To implement it, it uses the latest real-time video monitoring and analysis technology utilizing more than 100 proprietary computing servers.

The system transmits live (24/7) video from the secured facility recorded by cameras installed on the mobile tower of the SOVA system. The images from the cameras go to the 24/7 Operations Center, where they are analyzed in real time by VIKI’s artificial intelligence.

SGU takes full responsibility for what happens at the secured facility.

VIKI logo kolor

We can detect a threat using Video Interactive Kinetic Intelligence (VIKI) algorithms – our proprietary artificial intelligence (AI). The operator quickly recognizes a potential threat and reacts preventively to avoid an unwanted event.

To operate our SOVA system, we provide an app for your phone so you can see what’s happening at a secured facility. All cameras are at your disposal in one place – your Security Center.

The SOVA mobile tower allows observation of an object anywhere and its effective security in a 60-meter radius around the tower with the help of cameras installed on it. It is hybrid-powered (solar panel + battery), so it can be used to monitor any type of object – including those that do not have access to permanent power supply.

The modular design of the monitoring tower allows hassle-free transportation and installation at the desired location – it only takes one employee an hour. It is an effective mobile solution for security services, securing mass events and monitoring of any objects (construction sites, warehouses, landfills and many others).

The SOVA mobile tower allows you to send warning messages through a speaker mounted on the mast, as well as wireless, unlimited live video transmission and storage of recordings in the cloud for up to 5 years.

Centrum Operacyjne

The 24/7 Operations Center is at the heart of the SOVA AI 3.0 security system. Qualified operators constantly monitor secured facilities and immediately respond preventively to potential threats.

The first step is to issue an instruction activating a loud alarm signal and an audio message. If the expected response is not forthcoming, an intervention patrol is called and, if necessary, the appropriate services are called in.

The operations of the Operations Center team are supported by intelligent surveillance systems using the latest technology.

Properly functioning cameras capture a large amount of high-quality images. Accordingly processed, they are a source of valuable information to support construction logistics, work safety or record the progress of an investment.

Information - a key value

SGU provides interpreted information ready for use at any time, proving the value of the system and bringing real profits to the customer. Thanks to them, it is possible, for example, to record the movement of goods, show shortages in planned deliveries or determine the perpetrator of damage. It’s information that allows you to make quick and accurate decisions that translate into tangible benefits.

The SOVA AI 3.0 system operates in 2 modes:

Facility security

Aggresive mode - red flashing signal light on the object.

Each entry into the premises is treated by the SOVA Operations Center as an intrusion on the secured object and causes the initiation of the alarm procedure: activation of the acoustic siren, audio message, calling the intervention patrol and the police, phone notification of persons responsible for the object.

Procedure for transitioning the facility into aggressive security mode:

  1. After completion of work at the object, authorized persons (designated in writing by the Contractor: name, surname, phone number) are obliged to transfer the object to the protection of the SOVA Operations Center via phone. Each call is recorded.
    SOVA Operations Center numbers:
    phone: +48 32 707 66 66 – ext. 1, +48 533 383 809
  2. Before transferring the object to the aggressive security mode, check:
    – locking of rooms and containers (doors, windows);
    – security of construction equipment and machinery (locking of cabins, fuel fills, etc.);
    – construction equipment and machinery should be 40 m from the camera at most.

The above-mentioned will be verified by SOVA Operations Center when the object is transferred into aggressive security mode.

Video surveillance

No red flashing signal light on the object.

The SOVA Operations Center records and analyzes camera images for logistics and transportation, as well as health and safety prevention at the object. In visual monitoring mode object security is not performed.

Procedure for transitioning the object into visual
surveillance mode:

Before entering the object and beginning work, authorized people (designated in writing by the Contractor: name, surname, phone number) are required to report by phone to the SOVA Operations Center the disarming of the object in order to start works. As soon as the object is reported to be disarmed, the aggressive security mode switches into video monitoring mode. Each call is recorded.

At the request of the Contractor, it is possible to share the material recorded by the cameras of the SOVA system. To do so, please send an email to: centrumsova@sgu.com.pl

Video surveillance provided by the SOVA AI 3.0 system complies with data protection regulations.

  1. The SOVA AI 3.0 system meets the requirements of personal data protection provisions specified in Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).
  2. Under the service rendered by SGU, images of people are recorded with cameras installed on towers of the SOVA AI 3.0 system.
  3. According to Article 4 of GDPR, the image is a personal data, therefore, the visual monitoring conducted with the SOVA AI 3.0 system to the customer’s order is a process of personal data (image) processing.
  4. The SOVA AI 3.0 system does not record sensitive data, therefore, it is not necessary to obtain a consent of a person whose image is recorded (Article 9 of GDPR).
  5. According to Article 6.1 (f) of GDPR, the legal basis for personal data (image) processing with the SOVA AI 3.0 system is the so-called legitimate interest of the controller, i.e. the SGU customer.
  6. The equilibrium test conducted for standard conditions of SGU monitoring does not provide any grounds for deciding that this monitoring violates basic rights and freedoms of people being data (image) subjects. The purposes for conducting monitoring, i.e. ensuring security of people and property, are justified and legal.
  7. People being data subjects are informed about the conducted monitoring (using signs and pictograms), and therefore are not ‘surprised’ by it, and this meets the guidelines resulting from the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights of 17 October 2019 in the case of López Ribalda and Others v. Spain.
  8. The Polish Labour Code does not oppose conducting of the visual monitoring, and additionally, it does not apply to situations when works on the monitored premises are conducted by employees of a contractor and/or subcontractor, and the monitoring is conducted to an order of an investor or property owner.

We stand for transparent rules, so we have simplified our cooperation agreement as much as possible. The Effect Agreement is a confirmation of the assumption of full responsibility for the security of the object – regardless of the action of the so-called “force majeure”, for example, unexpected power outage or loss of images from cameras. SGU is responsible for the technical efficiency of the equipment and its readiness for operation.

We take full responsibility for secured facilities and what happens on their premises. We always pay for any thefts. Even when they were not our fault, we made every effort to prevent them and took all necessary measures. By entrusting the facility to us for surveillance, you are handing over to us full responsibility for its security.

If an unwanted incident occurs despite our actions, we take steps at our own expense to identify the perpetrator and have him apprehended by the relevant services. In the event of direct damage to an object secured by us, we guarantee payment of compensation.
