Drawing on many years of experience, we develop solutions that stay ahead of market trends, successfully implementing artificial intelligence in the analysis of data from video systems and cloud technologies supporting the integration of intelligent monitoring systems. Thanks to generative AI, analysis is more detailed, provides broader context, and enables immediate conclusions as well as effective protection of facilities.

The eyes of SGU’s intelligent video security system are SOVA (Video Audio Security System), the brain is VIKI (Video Interactive Kinetic Intelligence), and the heart is the 24/7 Security Operations Center, where experienced operators oversee key aspects of security management.

SOVA logo

The Video Audio Security System (SOVA) provides 24/7 security of the designated area. It uses the latest video surveillance technology and a proprietary AI-powered real-time video stream analysis, supported by over 100 of our own computing servers.

SOVA is also an effective rapid notification system, enabling the transmission of alarm information – visual (strobe lighting), audible (alarm signals), and voice (loudspeaker announcements). This allows security and emergency services to immediately communicate threat information and response instructions.

Remote management of the SOVA system ensures proper operation, security, and optimization of its performance.

We are able to detect threats using the algorithms of Video Interactive Kinetic Intelligence (VIKI) – our proprietary artificial intelligence (AI). Data is filtered in real time by AI agents within our own cloud computing environment, allowing us to eliminate false alarms.

We provide clear information and enable greater control over activities related to facility management and security across the entire organization. To operate the system, we provide a mobile application that allows users to see what is happening at the protected site. The VIKI app is an excellent tool for anyone who needs specific information about events taking place in the monitored area.

The mobile SOVA tower enables site monitoring at any location and provides effective security up to 60 m within the cameras’ field of view. It is solar-powered (solar panel + energy storage unit), allowing it to be used for monitoring any type of facility – including those without access to a permanent power supply.

Hassle-free installation of the tower at the selected location is carried out by one person within one hour. SGU’s efficient logistics enable the transport of up to 22 towers at the same time. It is an effective mobile solution for security services, mass event security, and monitoring of various facilities (construction sites, warehouses, waste storage areas, and many others).

Centrum Operacyjne

The 24/7 Security Operations Center is the heart of SGU’s intelligent video security system. Remote management of the SOVA system ensures proper operation, security, and performance optimization. Continuous monitoring of system condition and efficiency is carried out through the combination of AI tools and expert knowledge. This enables the rapid detection of potential irregularities (such as camera image disruptions) and their immediate elimination. As a result, even in crisis situations where access to facilities is limited, they can be continuously monitored and secured, preventing unwanted incidents.

The synergy of humans and artificial intelligence delivers measurable benefits – every time a human operator detects an error, the virtual AI agent learns and improves. This represents a significant shift in the delivery of security services. AI automates routine activities, allowing specialists to focus on the key aspects of security management.

Properly functioning cameras capture a large amount of high-quality images. Accordingly processed, they are a source of valuable information to support construction logistics, work safety or record the progress of an investment.

Information - a key value

SGU provides interpreted information ready for use at any time, proving the value of the system and bringing real profits to the customer. Thanks to them, it is possible, for example, to record the movement of goods, show shortages in planned deliveries or determine the perpetrator of damage. It’s information that allows you to make quick and accurate decisions that translate into tangible benefits.

The SOVA AI 3.0 system operates in 2 modes:

Site security

Aggressive mode – a red indicator flashes on the site.

Each entry onto the site is treated by the SOVA Security Operations Center as an intrusion into a secured site and triggers an alarm procedure: activation of an acoustic siren, audio message, dispatch of an intervention patrol and police, and telephone notification of persons responsible for the site.

Video monitoring

No red indicator flashes on the site.

In video monitoring mode, images from cameras are recorded. VIKI AI algorithms are not active – site security is not enforced. Upon the Client’s request, it is possible to provide recorded footage from the SOVA system cameras. For this purpose, please send an email to: centrumsova@sgu.com.pl

How to change the site security mode?

1. VIKI mobile application

Using the VIKI application, you can independently decide when to arm and disarm the site (activate the system when employees finish work or deactivate it when they start). The entire day’s activity is recorded.

VIKI telefony

2. Contact with the SOVA Security Operations Center

After work on the site is completed, authorized persons (indicated in writing by the Client: first name, last name, phone number) are required to notify the SOVA Security Operations Center by phone that the site is ready to be secured. Each call is recorded.

SOVA Security Operations Center contact numbers:
tel. +48 32 707 66 66 – ext. 1, +48 533 383 809

Before reporting the site for aggressive security mode, the following should be checked:

  • closure of rooms and containers (doors, windows);
  • securing equipment and construction machinery (locking cabins, fuel inlets, etc.);
  • equipment and construction machinery should be located within a maximum distance of 40 m from the camera.

The above information will be verified by the SOVA Security Operations Center when the site is reported for aggressive security mode.

3. Schedule

The SOVA Security Operations Center automatically arms and disarms the site according to a fixed schedule sent to: centrumsova@sgu.com.pl

Video surveillance provided by the SOVA AI 3.0 system complies with data protection regulations.

  1. The SOVA AI 3.0 system meets the requirements of personal data protection provisions specified in Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).
  2. Under the service rendered by SGU, images of people are recorded with cameras installed on towers of the SOVA AI 3.0 system.
  3. According to Article 4 of GDPR, the image is a personal data, therefore, the visual monitoring conducted with the SOVA AI 3.0 system to the customer’s order is a process of personal data (image) processing.
  4. The SOVA AI 3.0 system does not record sensitive data, therefore, it is not necessary to obtain a consent of a person whose image is recorded (Article 9 of GDPR).
  5. According to Article 6.1 (f) of GDPR, the legal basis for personal data (image) processing with the SOVA AI 3.0 system is the so-called legitimate interest of the controller, i.e. the SGU customer.
  6. The equilibrium test conducted for standard conditions of SGU monitoring does not provide any grounds for deciding that this monitoring violates basic rights and freedoms of people being data (image) subjects. The purposes for conducting monitoring, i.e. ensuring security of people and property, are justified and legal.
  7. People being data subjects are informed about the conducted monitoring (using signs and pictograms), and therefore are not ‘surprised’ by it, and this meets the guidelines resulting from the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights of 17 October 2019 in the case of López Ribalda and Others v. Spain.
  8. The Polish Labour Code does not oppose conducting of the visual monitoring, and additionally, it does not apply to situations when works on the monitored premises are conducted by employees of a contractor and/or subcontractor, and the monitoring is conducted to an order of an investor or property owner.

We stand for transparent rules, so we have simplified our cooperation agreement as much as possible. The Effect Agreement is a confirmation of the assumption of full responsibility for the security of the object – regardless of the action of the so-called “force majeure”, for example, unexpected power outage or loss of images from cameras. SGU is responsible for the technical efficiency of the equipment and its readiness for operation.

We take full responsibility for secured facilities and what happens on their premises. We always pay for any thefts. Even when they were not our fault, we made every effort to prevent them and took all necessary measures. By entrusting the facility to us for surveillance, you are handing over to us full responsibility for its security.

If an unwanted incident occurs despite our actions, we take steps at our own expense to identify the perpetrator and have him apprehended by the relevant services. In the event of direct damage to an object secured by us, we guarantee payment of compensation.

At SGU, effectiveness is our top priority. Procedures make sense to us only when they support the successful delivery of projects — not when they merely create the appearance of action. The ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2023 certifications held by three of our companies confirm what is our daily practice and what our clients have appreciated for years.
